Have you ever heard of it?
I was reading today that Karen and David Mains first introduced this through their Chapel of the Air radio broadcast. They suggest keeping a daily journal in which you record a sentence (just a sentence) describing how you've seen God in your life that day. It could be an obvious answer to prayer or timing that seems too perfect to be coincidence. By keeping a notebook and mentally walking your day, you are going to "spy" God where you might have missed Him.
I don't know about you but I want to "spy" God in my life. I want to notice!!! I want to remember. It sure would encourage my heart to here when/how you spied God in your daily life.

How I spied God today- I woke up able to move after playing 7 games of soccer this past weekend, my husband was able to come home for the day after being away for 16 days, watching my littles wrestle and laugh with Daddy, enjoying an after dinner walk together. Lots of ordinary miracles that God was present in! I am glad you are all feeling better.
Very cool idea! Love it.
Hugs,
Sue
That is an awesome idea, and so easy to do, one sentence! Thanks for posting it!
It is a great idea, just one sentence? That might be a challenge, but it would force you to make every word count!
I spied God Sunday in the eyes of Clayton, a child who nearly drowned years ago and has been completely healed.
I have to share one from last Thursday- in a minivan full of children after school, ALL whining and asking something of me at the same time, my youngest..."Mom""mom""mom""MOM" and I snapped. "WHAT?!??" Which startled her into forgetting what she was going to say and a moment later "I LOVE YOU". That had to be God.
Every time my husband gives me a bear hug and my child wraps his baby fingers around my index finger, I feel God.
I love this idea! I may begin this one.
I spied him today in the beautiful faces of the ladies of our bible study on Tuesday mornings. I saw each of them as individuals who God deeply loves.
Hope, what a marvelous idea. You could start an "I spy God" day and host it weekly...hum!!!
I spied God today while I was sitting outside on my patio, reading my Bible, and listening to the parrots chirping and playing around while the wind blew by my back yard. (It was spectacular!)
Great idea, Gives us a lot to look at:)
I just love your blog. I never leave empty-hearted. This is a fantastic idea. I have a wall hanging in my home that says, "God blesses every day. It's up to us to notice." Have a great day with the Lord.
That is a wonderful idea. It makes us take the time to acknowledge God in our 'everyday'.
