Measures in at 14 1/2 x 15
4 nobby feet on the back

Right now it's just leaning against the wall .. sitting on vintage suitcases. Not to creative.

I have a few things like that too. I love them hanging in different places and some look cool in outside areas too.

It is like an old piece of a grate!! Or in other words a frame with iron bars. I guess like annie said that you can just use it as decoration. Where did you find it? just wondering.

Do you have a fireplace??? i would maybe find a mirror to fit under it and mount them together and hang it over the mantel or maybe over the couch or something.

Hope...

ohhhhh...we love a challenge let's see...
(1) You could mount it to a piece of wood with a faux finish for a one-of-a kind piece or add molding around the edges for another look.

(2) Great fireplace screen insert...have old legs welded to the bottom.

(3) Great tabletop...you could add mirrored glass beneath it (or a vintage mirror would be fabulous)

...just a few thoughts.......thank you, thank you, thank you...so much for your sweet, wonderful words on my birthday post!

You made my day!

I was going to suggest using it as a fire place screen as well. You would have to move the legs. Sounds like it might be quite heavy for a wall..

I liked the table top idea too.

can you hang it above a dresser as a picture, or lay it on a table and set a plant on it? It is very pretty.

I think I would use it as a firescreen as well.

I'm too exhausted to come up with any creative new uses, but I like it.

I like the idea of a mirror behind. Then hang it somewhere...

I love those things...

1) Hang outside on the house as a "focal point".

2) I have one hanging on the first wall you see when you walk into the house and have a wrought iron rod with pictures hanging on it (different lengths) right under it.

I love it no matter WHERE you put it!

I LOVE those things! You can hang it inside or I have seen them look great outside as well. Too bad you do not have a pair!
