FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

It is (only) 3:39 pm... and I am exhausted....

Today was the official first day of "school". Ohhh....I forgot how tiring it can be.

Here is a glimpse into our homeschool day.
Bible Study, Devotion, Prayer Time

Seat Work...Study....Reading Time.

Yes we DO play...I will post more about it later. But right now I need MORE coffee!!!! I have 5 loads of laundry to do, a bathroom to clean and a kitchen floor to mop. Oh yeah, and dinner to make.

I love your look- new pic too, I think. Your school set up looks great- how do the dividers work? My kids are around the dining room table, because that seems to work with little ones in the house too.

Great pictures of your first day!

Those dividers are exactly what I had when I went to a Christian school for 9th-10th grade...accelerated Christian Education, or A.C. E. Brought back memories!

My oldest is at her grandma's for a couple days, but today was just one on one time for my youngest daughter's first day of official Kindergarten! It was so much fun- especially since she was so excited about it!
But later this week, it will be harder as I divide my time between Kindergarten and 3rd grade!

For you, it's even more challenging since you have three! :) Gotta' have that coffee! LOL

I think home schooling is wonderful... I know everyone can't do it, but I truly admire those who do!!
My sister-in-law homeschooled and her oldest son is now a lawyer in California !!

How nice to be able to start the day with God - such a life changing habit to instill in your children when they are young.

Your day sounds like mine. We've had quite the week - which has caused me to majorly put all sorts of blogging on the 'back burner'.

It's just now noon and I can't wait for the littles to take a nap. My 3 year old is just ---- he's just --- THREE!!!!

The dividers are rather interesting. :-) Ooops Mini-Me fell (She insisted on roller skating.) GOod luck with the second day!!! and the third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth..........

I love your school desks--what a set-up. I stopped homeschooling just this year--I'm missing those kids.
