Autumn Inspiration - GIVEAWAY

Autumn Inspiration, originally uploaded by nataleakandefer.

This weekend I said good-bye to summer. Another season of laughter, excitement and adventures. I decided not to be sad. Instead I rejoiced in all that the Lord has given me the privilege to experience. It truly has been a wonderful summer.

Now my mind is set on Autumn.

The colors, smells, and taste are some of my favorite of all . I am looking forward to more laughter, excitement and adventures.

What is your favorite season and why? Leave a comment and be entered to win an Autumn gift package. Spread the word and be entered twice. (just let me know)

It has very much felt like autumn around here, and the leaves are beginning to turn.

I just wrote a post about LOVING the start of each new season (http://unpinklife.blogspot.com/2008/08/waning-summer.html) and Autumn is my favorite! I love chilly weather, apple cider, trick or treating, my birthday, giving thanks, the colors all around, the crackle in the air, back-to-school, maple syrup, apple picking, my sister's homemdae apple pies, hay rides, pumpkin picking, turning back the clocks, long cozy nights at home with my family, more time outside now that the humidity and heat are gone! Oh I could go on and on!

Ah Autumn! It is my very favorite time of the year. Everything has a earthy and spicy aroma and all the colors are so full of warmth and comfort. I love cool autumn mornings and the evenings are perfect for spending time out doors. I love going to the Pumpkin patch to pick a pumpkin and have hay-rides and bonfires. It also just seems like family is closer than ever during the Fall. Everything just feels cozy and secure. ~ ((hugs)) Mechelle

Summer is my absolute favorite -- the warmth, the swimming, the long days ....
But I love the fall colors and crisp temps ... the first snow of the season ... the smell of spring in the air ...

LOL!

I have always liked Spring the best!! I love how things wake up and how pretty everything gets. Here is Savannah it is different than it was in Illinois. Things "REALLY DID" wake up there but i still like Spring the best.
I am going to be having a give away starting tomorrow for my blog anniversary.;STop by

I like Autumn and Early spring the best. I love the crispness in the air. I enjoy, oddly enough, seeing my breath in the cold air.

I'll have to figure out a way to spread the news on my blog.;-) Too fun. I love the photos. You'll have to tell me how you did that. it's cool.

Oh it's definitely Autumn. Summer is a close second, but I LOVE being able to wear jeans and a long sleeved T or a hoodie on a chilly (but not cold) evening. I love the colors that the trees change and the smell of fires (bonfires, chimney fires). I love drinking the "hot drinks" (cocoa, cider, etc) and I LOVE snuggling in with my man :-) There is SO much I love about Autumn, way more than any other season!

I'll post this on my {Mandi Speaks} blog after the kiddos go to bed, I'll make sure to come back and comment when I do!

My favorite season is Autumn too! I love the days leading up to Halloween, my second most favorite holiday. We put in a graveyard in the front yeard every year. It starts with a tombstone here, then little by little all of the fun elements get installed.

I love autumn! There are many reasons: the crisp air, crunchy leaves beneath your feet, and that first-day-of-school-anything-can happen feeling that never leaves you no matter what your age.

Hope first of all let me say thank you for saying what you said at the beginning of the post! I have been so sad over summer ending that I hadn't looked at the fact that my favorite season is just beginning! I too love the sights, smells and activities of Fall! It's school I don't want to come! We have had a great summer with alot of great memories and that I am truly thankful for! I am looking forward to leaves changing, the smell of autumn, football games and long walks with my family to see the colors! Hopefully too a weekend away with my sweety!! Oh how I hope!

My favorite season is summer. I love the heat, because that means swimming and going to the beach. It's so laid back and I can be lazy and enjoy the time off from school and spend more time with my friends.

My favorite season is summer. I love the warm weather, i love being able to put my feet in the sand. But when summer is over, i truly enjoy fall, all the colors and taking lots of pictures of the kids in the leaves and at the pumpkin patch. We have a nice park that i like to drive through to see all the leaves.

I love living in Iowa because we get to experience—REALLY experience—all 4 seasons. I have to say that my favorites are fall and spring. I love fall for the pumpkins, light-jacket weather, back-to-school excitement, and beautiful leaves. I love spring for the new flowers peeking up out of the ground, the absence of snow, and the liberation of being able to be outside again without freezing to death!

I love the start of every season- it is hard to narrow it down for me. I do love autumn- when the leaves change, the air gets crisp, and the wood stove gets lit...

I am not saying goodbye to summer yet though.

I'm with the popular vote here! I love autumn!! Love, love, love it!! I am a sweatshirt and jeans kinda girl and can't wait for that first high school football game when it gets chilly and just begs for a sweatshirt!!! Fall scents are my favorite too! Love me those fall candles!!!

I am a spring girl first, then autumn. Just love the flowers. But the smell of concord grapes that will be everywhere in about 3 weeks will put me in more of a fall mood!

Oh, it's so hard to believe summer is almost over.
But my favorite season is autumn. I love the colors, the smells and the chill in the air. Pumpkins, apples, cinnamon donuts and cider!

Love your pictures too.

I'm a university student, so summer is my favourite because that's when I get to be at home with my family. If that wasn't a factor, I'd probably pick autumn or spring as I don't really like the weather extremes.

My favorite would be winter. I love the barren trees, cashmere blankets and snowy walks. Playing outdoors with my son is the best; when we get too cold, it's inside for cocoa and board games by the fire.
Fluffy sweaters, stews, birds feeding on the windowsill and more.
