Top 10...

things I have learned since I became a mom.

10. The loud finger snap that will stop kids dead in their tracks

9. The I'm not angry, "I'm disappointed" speech

8. The fine art of the peanut butter and butter sandwich.

7. The ability to separate mixed modeling clay colors

6. The rule about not mixing the modeling clay colors.

5. The keen sense that a child is probably sitting way to close to the T.V

4. The "How do you know you don't like it if you haven't tried it" line.

3. The appropriate amount of time to spend in the corner.

2. The various comebacks to "But all my friends are doing it."

and # 1 thing

1. The terrified look that follows the questions "Where do babies come from?"

Uh-oh, number one can be fun. :) My kids never asked and neither did I, both my mom and I just told before monthly cycles started.

I must say that I have experienced EVERY ONE of those and possibly more!! smile!! You will have the right answer. Just give them a small part and usually they just walk away and say OKAY!! I am having that with my grands now. They will ask me these questions and then I try to just barely answer it and so far I am home good!! smile. Fun being a parent...even FUNNER being a grandmother. I wish I could stop by kid in her tracks with a snap of my fingers, how did you manage that? Usually we have to scream FREEZE!
