My Head Is Swimming

There are days (a lot lately) when my head is swimming with too many details: the grocery list, the laundry, the phone calls, the curriculum for this fall, oh yeah making money,-- and don't even get me started on the emails that have stacked up! How about you? Do you ever feel this way. I feel like screaming at times AHHHHHHH! Maybe your list is a little different, but I bet your brain is swirling. The practical side of me says, " Just make a list of what needs to be done and then do it."

The Lord pricked my heart today. OUCH!!! My devotion reading was Psalms 37: 3-5

The Lord says, "Commit your work to me and I will help you." What a wonderful God! It's not hard to delight in such a God.

My head is swimming most days.... oddly enough I work best when I have so much to do!

You're right, God makes it easy to serve and praise Him... He's AWESOME!

Oh I so need to remember that verse! I think I'm going to put it up around home and at church to continuously remind me! Thanks!

Let me say a hearty "Me too!"
I love this verse too.
And sometimes I hear myself saying, "Help me get everything done Lord, one thing at a time. One thing at a time."

All too often I allow the swirling to take over. It goes away if I remember to stop, pray, and lean on God. He never intended me to do it all on my own, anyway. To try is simply foolish, not heroic.
