My daughter and I were asked to speak at the Mother/Daughter Banquet this weekend. (I am not a pubic speaking kinda of person, don’t they know that????) Please pray for us.
I must go ….it is Friday afternoon and I still have shopping to do, house to clean and a speech to write. Can God really use someone who waits until the last minute to do anything!!!!!! I feel so inadequate.
I am sending all you mom’s these beautiful flowers. Don’t you wish your computer had a smell-o-meter.

Aw, shucks, you shouldn't have. Hope your speech goes well. I know I couldn't do it. If you can speak to young girls about modesty, you can do this!

You will do just fine!! I had to do that once at a Mother-Daughter banquet and I was so frightened...but since then I have been the mentor at MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)and found that I like public speaking...give me something that I am passionate about to talk about and I can do it. Pick something that you believe WHOLE HEARTEDLY in and go with it...pray a lot.

I am SURE that you knocked their socks off...and, if it makes any consolation, I almost ALWAYS wait to the last minute (better inspiration, or maybe just stress, that way).
