Just thinking

I think about what I would have missed from 8:00 - 5:00 if I were to have a "real" job outside the home.

1. 8:15am. Friend calls and needs me to watch her little girl while she goes to the hospital to see her dying Grandma.

2. Different friend stops by. She is struggling to fight cancer. She needed someone to just LISTEN to her. Without judging.

3. Sitting around the table reading God's word with my children and hubby.

4. Getting on our knees as a family in the middle of the day.

5. Another friend dropped in to bring cookies and have a cup of coffee with me. ( she knows how I love a drinking partner--wink*)

Thank you Lord for using me today. I just pray I honored you with my words and actions. I am humbled.

I love how you looked at it from this perspective. These are things that money could never replace.

Blessings!

Stay at home as long as you can..take my word for this! you will never ever regret it. Here I am 63 and working again at a so called "part time" job!! smile!! I still would love to be at home!! My heart is still there even though my kids are gone. I have never once regretted being at home with my children. I think it makes them better people...at least I like to think that is why they turned out so well. Sandy

number 5 is reason enough to hang around the house. Come to think of it, I think I spend my day waiting for someone to bring me cookies and I just never realized it! LOL!

Glad you were able to be used today! You need to add a #6.

6.)Shared this revelation with internet friends and made their day better.

You are most definitely where you need to be. God is using you BECAUSE you are at home.

Bless you!

What a delightful blog you have! Thank you for visiting mine! =) I, too, am grateful that I am able to stay at home with our four children. I find it wonderful that you all get on bended knee in the middle of the day. What a beautiful example of faith! "Whatever blesses one, blesses all!" =)

Wow. What a day you had. It sounds like you have a wonderful ministry from your own home. Not having to go to work has allowed me time to get more involved in serving God, too. It's a great gift that God has given to us Stay at Home Moms.
