For today

When I awoke this morning I was feeling a little discouraged. I bit out of sorts. I can blame it on the weather but the real problem was me and my heart. I allowed satan to creep into my thoughts.

I continued to plow through my morning doing the usual routine...make coffee (always 1st thing) shower, dress, devotion time, prepare breakfast, fold laundry, get kids lessons to them and started on their school work. After all the morning duties were done I finally had time to sit down at my computer. I wanted to get caught up on reading my bloglines and respond to some emails. Guess what was in the email.....GOD SPEAKING TO ME through Mel. Her email was straight from heaven above. Thank you Mel for listening to God.

Has anyone ever wondered if all the time and energy you put into blogging really makes a difference? I know I have! The answer is YES!

Those moments of encouragement that are unexpected are so great! I have found blogging to be such a positive experience too.

I just had one of those moments of encouragement! Sometimes I do wonder about my blogging, but then there are so many times I am blessed, encouraged, admonished, etc... Hope your spirits are lifted!

God knows just what we need when we need it, doesn't He!?!? I love that!!! From one busy mommy to another - be encouraged - we DO BIG jobs - have you heard that new Steven Curtis Chapman song on mothers??? It's WONDERFUL!!!

I've found inspiration through many of my favorite blogs too. There are a few of them that I go right to if I am feeling out of sorts and there's almost always something there to get me back on the right path.
